Ciro Castiello, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics of the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy. His research interests include: soft computing techniques, inductive learning mechanisms, interpretability of fuzzy systems, eXplainable Artificial Intelligence. He participated in several research projects and published more than seventy peer-reviewed papers. He is member of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT) and of the INdAM Research group GNCS (Italian National Group of Scientific Computing).
